What does this mean? Well to the raptors not much I’m still team captain and I’m not going anywhere, all it means is that Richard and i will be coordinating events for Team Thunder which we come under anyway, so what it means to us is more paintball and my name now has some exposure.

Been a rather couple of fun weeks, bought my own paintball gear ready to get a team together and play regularly. Saw the final instalment of Harry Potter today also, was ok . I found it good but with all the hype i was expecting a little more than an hour and a half long battle. I know, i know how could i say this but i stick to my guns about J.K.Rowlings writing and its summed up in the last book/film. She was all like “oh noes what do i do with all these characters, i cant make them all meet up at the train station at the end, ummmmm oh i know, i’ll kill 50 odd % of the characters, i wanted you to love. Ahhh thats better loose ends sorted” Plus the final criticism is that after all that shit, what did Harry actually get ? Fuck all, yep thats right not even a medal or something. I’m sure its one of those movies that Mark Komode faps over and says how amazing it is.
Moving swiftly on. Went out to Swansea this weekend for a friends 21st and it was EPIX. Got WAHEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too drunk but met some very nice people

The last few days have been full of a quiet drinks at the pub working and being nerdy so there we go

Despite having bruises the size of Tennis balls on my inner thighs, I’m searching for relatively local paintball venues and thinking about doing it a bit more “seriously”. I would seriously compare it to having your first tattoo, you’re not use to the pain yet but you’re itching to get more! So i’m going through then motions of getting to moolah together to getting my own equipment and start getting out there to shoot some people, with paint obviously!

1. For those who don’t already have it, firstly install Firefox 5.0, if you’ve got it already skip to step 2.

2. Once you have Firefox install Greasemonkey, Greasemonkey is a wonderful little Firefox extension that allows more user control through the use of Java.

3. Once you’ve installed Greasemonkey restart your browser and make sure Greasemonkey is enabled, you will know if it is because a small monkey will appear next to your home button near your address bar.

4. Next install this script and then another restart of Firefox.

5. Again check the script is enabled by going to Facebook.com and  clicking the small down arrow next to the monkey icon discussed in step 3 and make sure “Facebook Chat Side Reversion” is ticked.

6. You’re all set up and good to go

ANYWAYS enough nerding for one day. I now have a few days booked to head off to Amsterdam in October i also have Reading Fest next month and the EuroGamer Expo in September, so this is a crazy next few months! Wow holy ship when i look at it like that i have a seriously busy next few months.

Other than the above and things slowly getting better have to say the last few days have been rather hard considering my recent split, although it was my decision doesn’t mean it hasn’t been really hard. The best way to describe it is like London, you can be surrounded by people but still feel completely alone. I have to say of course i miss her at times and i wouldn’t be human if i didn’t spend nights wondering whether it was the right decision. No matter how upset or emotional i get i always arrive at the same place that in the end it was for the best and with her telling me just this morning she now realised we weren’t right together that has offered me some closure. The next big hurdle when one of us finds someone else. I hadn’t even considered this until this morning but blatantly when she finds someone else, irrelevant of time that has passed, how am i suppose to feel?  What is normal to feel? Anger, jealously, regret? All seem pretty fair to me but am i allowed to feel like that ?

Holy crud I’m confused. Well hopefully by writing my feelings onto the blog will encourage people to comment, share and let me know what they think.

Firstly i looked at the Desktop site and above all else its defiantly a Google product. Its clean, simple and above all else its functional but with a splash of Google pizazz. The colours are bright is some places and there’s lots of white. So far I’ve found very little to complain about this although at first i seemed to be having a few issues sorting my stream into a more timeline oriented fashion as it was all jumbled up when it was posted wise. Obviously all of us who are aware of Google+ is that its suppose to be the rival of Facebook and personally its got the credentials. When the project becomes public and more and more people sign up and share the ease and the raw beauty of the site will entice people. It has to be said here that in this bloggers opinion Facebook as gripped millions of people  and refused to stop jamming adverts or stupid groups down our throats. I’m sure with the nasty Google Ad-sense, that Google+ in time will go the way of Facebook but only time will tell.

The next thing to note is the Google+ on the go, any Facebook assassin worth its salt needs to be able to compete against the various different ways to update your Facebook status anywhere in the world. So firstly there is the Desktop site obviously and there there is a mobile version, for mobile web browsers, now for those of you who don’t know i love Android and currently am running 2.2 on my Desire HD, the reason this is important mention is because of the buggyness of the mobile web app of Google+, due to its small data requirements to increase speed when using a Mobile data connection it was very low resolution and upon reflection didn’t adhere to the, once again, beautiful Desktop site, It could of course be my connection or my particular phone, so if its ok for everyone else please let me know.

The Web App is available across all mobile platforms. Now as I’m sure you’ve guess smartphone apps are coming and of course Android being Google, guess where the preference came? That’s right the Google+ app is already available on the Android market for Android 2.1 onwards, (free of charge of course). With an iPhone app to follow, so far no news on a Blackberry or Windows Phone app as yet, but who knows.

So as an avid Android user I’ll talk you through the app, firstly the UI is incredible i can quite clearly say that with the Web App as a bit of an exception Google is the God of consistency the app is very similar in style to Facebook with your simple category view when first opened with the nice bold icons linking you to the “Stream” ,the equivalent to your newsfeed on Facebook, “Huddle”, a group chat feature that you can include, individuals from Google+, Circles or emails, I’m assuming here that people who aren’t even on Google+ can be included with some form of email version of the chat. Also a link for “Photos”, pretty self explanatory but the categorising is pretty neat, “Profile”, again obvious what that is, and finally “Circles”, Which i talked about in the first paragraph. All in all the app is simple, sleek and well, functional. As an avid hater of Facebook it pains me to say that with Facebook’s constant updates the Facebook App wins, HOWEVER and this is a big however, Google+ is in a private beta right now so once the reviews are in, the bugs are debugged, you can expect (i hope) marvellous things from Google+.

I find writing blogs quite hard, i have a lot to express but finding the correct words and everything take so much out of me creatively its boring.

So the weekend has crept back around and being a support worker i have to admit that you lose track of days and dates. Having the potential to be working any of the 365 days a year certainly takes an impact but i cant falter my job, there are bad days but then you have really good days where you can see the positive impact your having on someone else’s life makes up for those ten fold. We are sadly in a time where my profession is in the spotlight due to a horrendous Panorama documentary, however i encourage everyone to remember that even though one bad place existed the majority of others maintain a super high standard. I side tracked there slightly my point was that the weekend is here and that means that Monday is nearly here and that means Foo Fighters supported by Jimmy Eat World at the iTunes festival. I still cant believe i won tickets but there we go i cant wait !!

After that just over a month till Reading and I’m pretty psyched for that as well, so many people bitching about the line up but in this bloggers opinion its pretty immense, i stand by the whole point of a festival like reading, it has multiple stages and a variety so if you don’t like one band then you can go see another, some people just like to have something to complain about and then on top of that when a lot of people moan other people jump on the funking band wagon.

Back to other things not much else is new pretty boring trying to get all my Fireland dailies done every day but I’m pretty sure I’m behind a lot of people. Mind you im now 22nd (Drop from 16th) Best warrior on my realm (Click Here) so im trying to keep that up and get into the top ten (fingers crossed).

Other than that an afternoon of napping, dog walking, spending time with my gorgeous girlfriend and catching up on C4′s new series is what awaits me today and tomorrow. Whats everyone else up too?

I don’t want to get on the wrong foot, this is not a blog for me to whinge about how hard my life is or anything like that, because it isn’t. This is to allow me to express myself in a medium I’m comfortable with. Although there is some information about me in my “About” page, as this is my first post lets dive right into some detail.

I’m 21 years old and although wisdom should come with age I’m sarcastic way beyond my years. My cynicism pushes so close to the realm of annoyance that I myself get fed up of the comments I make.
